I chose this song as I feel like its easy to tell a story whilst
listening to the lyrics. The lyrics are relatable to everyone and
everyone can link the lyrics to their own lives.
SONG CHOICE AND GENRE
 A boy plans to go to a party with his girlfriend, however, she doesn't
feel well on the night, so he goes alone. He promises to her that he will
be on his best behaviour and won't be misbehaving. When he gets to
the party, there will be many bad temptations to test his loyalty such
as drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and other girls. He will be tempted but he
turns them all down because he is loyal to the girl he loves. Throughout
the video, there will be flashbacks to when he was doing those 'bad
things' with the girl, such as smoking, drinking and doing drugs. The
video follows the boys struggle to enjoy himself at the party.
 At the very end of the video, the camera will cut from the party to the
girls bedroom, where we will see the girl wrapped up in her bed. Then
the camera will zoom out and reveal her to be snuggling up to another
boy. The video will end with a black screen.
 The music video will show that the female was the unfaithful one.

Last Friday night by Katy Perry
I took inspiration from these music
videos in particular as they are all set
at parties. Only one out of the three tell
a story as the other ones are just
artists lip-sync.
For the party : At my house particularly in the living room /
garden as it allows the camera to be placed in various different places
without it looking too claustrophobic
I will also be using Hannah's bedroom as a location as I will
need to shoot the final few shots there.

For the flashbacks I plan to film at the park and down a path

 I chose the main male protagonist to be Charlie (Me) as I
know the song very well and I know exactly how I want the
main character to be portrayed.
 I chose Hannah to be the main female protagonist as I feel
she would play the role perfectly. She looks like a very
relatable girl that I feel people will liken too and wont expect
her to be unfaithful.
 I chose the rest of the cast as they are up for being in the
video, I can rely on them and they are also in this age group
so it will look consistent.
CASTING
The target audience I’m aiming my video at will be around 16 -
23 as it does involve drugs, drinking and smoking, which is not
something that younger audiences should be seeing.
