2. Our group:
Our group consists of 2 people however we were a group of 4 but then
we decided for the best we should break off as 2 individual groups. We
all decided we should as we had way too many ideas for our trailer but
it was getting to late stages of the task to complete the fundamentals
such as the plot, synopsis, characters and their profiles.
We believe working as 2 individual groups will benefit all of us as we
are more comfortable with sharing our opinions whilst working
together. This would mean our planning and research would be
completed in detail to our full ability and that we will be able to create
the best production we can.
3. Our production name and title :
During our first meeting we discussed what genre we wanted to base
our trailer on, the production name and further ideas. We decided to
do a horror as we all have experience doing this genre, the production
name is ‘Ancient moon productions’ as it links to our genre and it’s
relatively mysterious and eerie. ‘Our little secret’ is our film name as
one of our main characters was accidentally killed by the other and the
main character who died has a stitched up mouth to keep the secret
from being exposed.
Our Logo:
Based on the creation of our production name we have used moons on
our logo so they are relatable. We have chosen a variety of different
blue tones as it is a neutral colour and goes with our theme.

Our plans have changed
dramatically as we are no
longer using any of these

to create our realistic jump
scare trailer.
6. Joseph is a boy that taken over by a spirit after walking home from college.
This spirit traps Joseph in a dream. A dream that’s his worst nightmare as it
makes him re-live his past including his darkest moment. Waking up in a
dark empty room leaves Joseph confused. Random but familiar objects
start to appear triggering flashbacks from his past, some bringing back
happy memories but it all starts to change as bloody posters, bloody
objects appear in hands bringing back his darkest moments. The flash backs
starts to fade as his normal surroundings become clear. Although he notices
a familiar presence next to him, a girl in a white bloody gown with hair
covering all her face but her smile. Then it all ends…
Plot:
Synopsis:
A single child’s life takes a turn for the worst when targeted by the unknown.
His life suddenly flashes before his eyes when he awakens faced with his
greatest fear.

than one change of clothing
so we decide to go for a smart
school kind of look and a
casual everyday kind of look.
We decided to go with
the messy hair style as it
looks like he’s been
rushing and hasn't had
time to do his hair.
The colour black represents
evil and mystery so we decided
to go for dark black clothing to
suggest there is evil about and
present.
Joseph is kind, clever, weird,
smart, plain, nerdy, loner,
independent and likes
technology.
Joseph has a comb over,
he wears glasses and
wears shirts. He often
spaces out when he sits
alone, he has a smart
phone and helps out
teachers and the elderly.
He gets good grades in
school, only speaks to
teachers. He always
plays games, he’s a
computer freak. He
draws strange things and
talks to himself.

eerie look with the hospital
gown and the long hair
covering her face.
The hospital gown suggest
she is mental or that she is
a patient on a ward.
The hospital gown would be a
typical white old parented style.
White suggests she is pure and
the old pattern signifies the age
of the girl now, that she’s grown
up.
Her hair is covering her
face so that we don’t see
her identity plus it shows
she is mental and
mysterious.
The colour of her hair is
brown, the colour brown
suggests funeral, death
and dark. This could
signify a death in the
trailer (Mary)
accidentally killed by
Joseph.
Her mouth is going to
have makeup on so it
looks like her mouth has
been sewed together.

• This trailer we are creating will be targeted at both genders as we
believe that most teenage girls and boys watch horror movies during
their spare time as they love the thrill and jump scares.
