The sub-genre I will be doing is rap and the reason for this is because I listen to it the
most and I feel this will; give me an advantage when making the magazine as I will
know more background knowledge.
For my main image I am thinking of having the model with their arms in their pockets
or crossed together. I would also have the model looking straight at the camera with
a moody and intimidating expression on his face as, from my research I found that
this was a popular choice.
For my masthead, I was thinking of the name ‘BEAT’ or ‘The BEAT’ as it is a synonym
for rap. Also it sounds aggressive as well which I think suits well for the genre I have
picked. If I choose to have the beat I will have the TB as the initialism. I thought of Da
Beat as well but wasn’t so confident with it. The font style I am thinking is bold and
powerful.
