This document provides instructions for using basic features of the Pinterest iPad app, including how to sign up for an account, search for pins, add pins to boards, create boards, enter pins from websites, and share boards. 2. Sign Up for Account

3. Search for a Topic
❖ You can find ideas from other
people's pins by searching

4. When you find something useful
❖ Click on useful links to open
them in their own window!
❖ Click Pinit in the top right to
add it to your own board

5. Create a new Board
❖ Since you don't have any
boards yet click on "Create a
Board"!
❖ Once you have a board you
will have to use the little top
button in future

6. Enter the Board settings
❖ You can make your board
secret for now but you will
have to make it public later to
share with your teacher!
❖ You can leave it public from
the start

7. Entering a pin from a website
❖ Click the + button down the
bottom!
❖ Select Web

8. Search for your page
❖ Type in a web address or
search term

9. Select a Pin Image
❖ Pinterest will find all images
on the page

10. Select a Board
❖ Just like before, select your
board

11. Pin It
❖ Just tap Pin It in the top corner

12. Sharing Your Work
❖ Click edit to make your board
public if you didn't already!
❖ Click the share plane up the
top to invite someone via
email.!
❖ If you need the URL log into
Pinterest in Safari (or another
browser), open your board and
copy it
