Local chefs providing hands-on, affordable cooking classes with a focus on
preparing healthy meals using fresh seasonal ingredients.
Inspired by Baltimore Green Space.
Gardens provide a good platform for community involvement as neighbors work
together to turn abandoned lots into a much-needed productive land.
Rethink and redesign the corner stores & carryout into a community market.
7. Through a two-pronged approach targeting neighborhood corner stores while
raising educational awareness of healthier dietary choices, our mission is to
provide innovative and sustainable solutions to promote and protect the health
of residents of Middle East Baltimore against the problem of food deserts.
