1) The document describes the process the author took to create a composite digital image. They struggled to isolate an image of a man with a chainsaw and eventually removed just the man. 2) They then placed the isolated image of the man onto an image of a tree, blending the white background into the background of the tree image. 3) Additional touch-ups were made by erasing excess background around the man and using tools to cover a yellow mark on his shirt and sharpen his shoes. This completed the author's finished composite digital image.

Creating My Picture
First,I startedwiththe picture of the man withthe chainsaw.I struggledwiththispicture
because Icouldn’tgetit justhowI wantedit.I wouldonlygetridof half the side of one andthenthe
otherside wouldn’tgoaway. Itriedto crop the picture to make it easierandthatdid notmake it any
easier!Iwentback andforce oncroppingthengettingridof the excesssides.Ifinallygota “bright”idea
to not getrid of the excesssidesorcrop the picture;I wassimple goingtogetthe man withhischainsaw
out.It was much easierthantryingtocut piece bypiece awayfromthe side.Once the bodyof the man
was takenselected,Icutvia layer.Thisgave me the man by himself andthe sidesof the picture.The
man still hadthe sides,butthe sideswere white.There wasnow twolayers.Ideletedthe layerwiththe
sidesof the man andkeptthe one of the man. I savedthe man andopenedupthe picture of the tree.I
pacedthe picturedof the manintothe spotI wantedonthe tree picture.Icouldn’tfigure outhowto
getthe picturestooverlapanotherway;therefore,thiswasmywayof overlappingthe pictures.Iplaced
the picture where Iwanteditand hitplace here.The white blendedinwiththe background,sothere
was smallerworktobe done.Thisiswhat I had intentionallywantedtodo. I thinkI justfoundthe more
difficultwayof doingitandthoughtthat itwas easier.Afterplacingthe picture,Ibeganerasingthe
excessbackgroundthatwasleftonthe picture of the man. I erasedthe picture withafine tipto help
minimize myerrorsexceptitdidn’thelpany. Ittookme overan hourto erase the edgesof the man with
the chainsaw that isn’tincludingthe twohoursof redoingthe picture frommymistakes.AfterIhad
erasedthe edgesfromthe picture,the onlythingleftwastocoverup a random yellow strikeonhis
shirt. I usedthe Band-Aidclick!Once againIusedthe small pen inorder to reduce the mistakesof the
pictures.Ialsousedthistool to sharpenup the shoes.Itwas easyto dobecause itmade it looklike the

Photoshop.WhenItriedtoreopenit,I openeditwrong.Ihad to go to the wrongpicture and openitin
Photoshopagain.Once Iwas there,Isavedthe picture as a Jpeg.Now that isthe finishingproductof my
digital imagery.
