This document contains a phonics assessment for Year 1 students that tests their ability to identify and produce individual phonemes and blend/segment sounds in words. It includes a section where flashcards are shown and students say the correct phoneme, as well as assessments of oral blending and segmenting abilities. The teacher ticks boxes to record correct answers or writes down incorrect responses. Observations about each student's performance are also noted.
