All students are pre – intermediate learners (B1). Even though, they are good at reading,
writing, and speaking, there are some difficulties regarding pronunciation and accuracy during
the development of speech.
There are 9 female students, and 11 male ones.

II. General Objective
Students will be able to pronounce words appropriately related to the /ʃ/ and /t ʃ/ sounds.
II- Specific objectives: SWABT
1. 1- Distinguish words that contain /t ʃ / and /ʃ / phonemes
1. 2- Pronounce the / ʃ / and /t ʃ / phonemes through listening and speaking exercises.
1. 3- Recognize vocabulary that contains /t ʃ / and /ʃ / sounds
Language form: Phonemes /ʃ/ and /t ʃ/
Language functions: Pronouncing / ʃ / and /t ʃ /

Tongue tip: Firmly pressed against the gum ridge behind the upper front teeth.
Airstream: Stopped (as for /t/( and then released (as for / ʃ /)
Vocal cords: Not vibrating
