4. Declaration of Policy In this program are given the rights and privileges for the disabled. They are part of our society so the State duty to provide support to improving their craft. 5. Definition of Terms For purposes of this Act, these terms are defined as follows: Disabled Person The lack of competent physical and mental faculties; the absence of legal capability to perform an act. Impairment loss of physical function resulting in diminished efficiency; the inability to work.
6. Definition of Terms Disability usually signifies an incapacity to exercise all the legal rights ordinarily possessed by an average person. Handicap refers to person who has a disability or is impaired in some way.
7. Definition of Terms Rehabilitation means helping you to get your strength and independence back after a serious illness or accident.
9. Equal Opportunity for Employment The handicapped can not be denied when it comes to work especially if he qualified as an employee in a company. Should not be a hindrance to his disability he would not accept as an employee in the company. He is also entitled to receive all the benefits to be gained by an ordinary employee.
10. Incentives Of Employer Brings the incentive of the private sector in their active participation in advancing the welfare of disabled persons.
11. Incentives of Employer If a private sector employee with a disability and the employee are met him the necessary skills are entitled to an additional deduction from their income, equivalent to 25 percent of the total amount paid as salaries and wages of disabled people
12. Incentives of Employer If the private sector has modified their facilities to provide a reasonable accommodation for their employees with disabilities are entitled to an additional deduction from their taxable net income tax, equivalent to 50 percent of direct costs of changes .
13. Vocational Rehabilitation Equal rights of workers and workers in general, the State makes appropriate employment for the disabled. State shall take appropriate vocational rehabilitation measures that shall serve to develop the skills and potentials of disabled persons and enable them to complete favorably for available productive and remunerate employment opportunities in the labor market.
