Several psychiatric medications including ziprasidone, asenapine, paliperidone, and iloperidone as well as TCAs can cause prolongation of the QT interval on electrocardiograms. Additional drugs from other classes such as the antiarrhythmic amiodarone, the antibiotic clarithromycin, and the antianginal ranolazine have also been associated with QT prolongation.
