The report ‘Future of Work – The Co-Working Revolution’ is India’s very first co-authored study by CII, JLL India and WeWork on the booming co-working offices industry. This report investigates the trends and market forces driving the brave new world of co-working office spaces across India and the world. It describes in detail its influence on the corporate real estate sector as it embraces the uncertainty and turns disruption into opportunity. The concept of co-working is not new; however, the tremendous growth it has seen around the globe – and now in India - in recent years is tremendously exciting. This report was launched at the 9th Edition of the CII Realty and Infrastructure Conclave in Mumbai.

Like Goldilocks in search of a comfortable bed, some stories can be too big, some can be too small, and some can be just right. Story size does matter because if stories are too large or too small, you cannot use them in planning. Epics are difficult to work with because they frequently contain multiple stories. For example, in a travel reservation system, “A user can plan a vacation” is an epic. Planning a vacation is essential functionality for a travel reservation system, but there are many tasks involved in doing so. You should split the epic into smaller stories. The team, its capabilities and the technologies used are the ultimate determination of whether a story is appropriately sized.
The major players of the industry that have been featured in this latest edition of green energy providers will also continue to play their part in it.

To design business models of the future requires a comprehensive set of skills. The skills are diverse in nature and range from the typical business analysis delivery focused requirements management tools and techniques to the more business architect MBA style and business model innovation techniques.

Where is the overlap and is there a career path between the two?
What about the frameworks that support these two disciplines?
This presentation will deal with:
Shifts occurring in the market;
Where the business architect and the business analyst provide value individually;
Where the business architecture and the business analyst provide value together;
How are the disciplines merging; and what the future could look like.
