Responsible for the programming and the plastic welding process
of the robotic downlines along with the press tending ring loaders,
parison and article take out robots on the Krupp blow molding
machines.
Started employment as a blow molding technician in 96’. Job
responsibilities; changing head tooling, mold set up, optimizing wall
thickness , weight, and cycle time of gas tanks. I was in this
position for 1 year.
Moved on to the welding process of the gas tank. I was
responsible for training and supervising up to 24 downline
technicians, optimizing hot plate welding parameters and cycle
times along with scrap reduction. I was on call 24/7 for any
problems with the process or operation of the equipment.
In 99’ TI Automotive went to robotic downlines (210 robots) with
vision systems. I trained ABB and Axium on the hot plate and spin
welding process. I wrote the specifications for the machines ABB
and Axium was contracted to build for TI. I spent over a 2 months
in Toronto and Montreal Canada helping program and build the
new robotic downlines.
From 2002 to Aug. 2005 I was doing 100% of all robot
programming and integration of new equipment. I.e. automatic
robotic loading of the gas tanks into the water baths and
downlines, ring loading into the molds, inspection robots. Also
helping production with every day problems that were incurred.
Experience with brain tech and opti-master vision systems, Allen
Bradley PLC 5/500, RSlogix, Omron CX programmer, some
Siemens S5 and S7, devicenet, remote IO, profibus, interbus.
