a. Provide thorough knowledge on the nature and background of

steps, and arm movements in folk dance which learners need to
produce a folk-based festival dance.

situations in physical activity and dance settings (cramps, sprain,

5. Festival Dances
Festival dances are cultural dances performed
to the strong beats of percussion instruments by a
community of people sharing the same culture
usually done in honor of a Patron Saint or in
thanksgiving of a bountiful harvest. It may be
religious or secular in nature.
