The applicant considers themselves committed and punctual based on their excellent school and college attendance record. They see themselves as honest and trustworthy since they learned at a young age that lying has serious consequences. The applicant takes pride in problem solving and never leaving tasks unfinished. They have a paper route that must be completed between 5-7pm daily. The applicant also takes pride in their self-presentation and does not want to be seen as dirty or untidy. 1. Personal Statement
I consider myself to be a committed and punctual college leaver; this is shown in my
excellent attendance record in my final years at school and two years at college. I also
consider myself to be honest and trustworthy because I have learnt through experience as a
child that liars are always caught out eventually and have more server consequences in the
long run, due to this I never lie anymore. Also I am good at problem solving. This is because I
am very tenacious, I don’t like leaving tasks any less finished than finished.
Out in the open world I have a paper round, which I have to deliver at the specific time of
between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. In the open world I take a lot of pride in my self-presentation.
This is because I don’t want anyone, not even strangers, to see me and look down at me for
having dirty and untidy cloths.
In the open world I want a job that can help to develop my communication skills as well as
my public speaking skills. This is because they are some of my weakest skills and ultimately I
am desperate to improve them. Two of my much stronger skills are creativity and
innovation, which are both very strong, but I know being employed into an industry that
involves them will only help to improve them a great deal.
