1. I took an ielts test to apply the Canada student visa.
For applying the Student Partners Program. I must
meet the requirements on ielts. I spent two months to
study ielts every day. I did previous ielts test for
several times and practice my oral with foreigner
teachers. Fortunately, I passed the exam and got the
visa successfully. According to prepare the ielts test, I
improve my time management skills so that I can do
more tasks in the limited time.

2. Here was a lecture of
COMM161. We were arguing
about an essay about the
school uniform. As the member
of the negative side. I had write
all the proof of our opinion and
tried to collect information to
refute the positive side. The
essay and the argument told us
the ways of thinking of the
school management. So that we
could understand some
decisions that the management
made. We learned some
organization skills through the
essay and argument.

3. It was a ESL class with a visit group from Thailand. We were discussing the transport problem over the
world. The students were in groups of four to consider the case on the handouts. I learned more
information about air pollution caused by vehicles. After the group discussion. I was the
representative of the group to report our opinion. The communication skills is more significant than
the realize on the transport problem. Due to the group with people from different country. As a
representative, my communication skill had a large development.

4. This event was hold in
Singapore sponsored by
Google. The six thousand
people got together to against
the discrimination of
homophobia. Some of them
were homosexuals. I helped the
staffs to distribute the dessert
and drinks. And rest of the
time, I learned how to plan an
event from the staff. The
purpose of this event was to
decrease the discrimination of
homophobia. The
discrimination was unfair to the
homosexuals. The were some
actions to present your attitude
like wearing a badge and signed
on the banner. It was a chance
for homosexuals to show their
heart and everybody enjoyed
the event.

5. Due to the interest on the culture and history of
Brunei Darussalam, I took a journey to Brunei. I
thought travel is a way to rich my experience.
Since I arrived at the airport, I started to take
photos and noticed what did the citizens do.
Because of the different religion, I had to pay
attention on my behavior to avoid breaking their
rules. During the period I stayed in Brunei, I
made some interviews about the culture, history
and daily life. After I came back here, I used
some material and information in my teamwork
because I thought it was the most suitable. When
my team member’s opinion conflict with mine, I
used my communication skills to persuade her. At
last, the result of the teamwork prove that I was
right.
