The IELTS
In 2011, I passed the IELTS
with the average grade of
6.5. This was a tough task
for me because there was
only one month for me to
prepare for it and during
that period I also needed to
prepare for the college
entrance examination. I was
pressed for the time and I
made it!! With this test
report form I could come to
Canada and registered an
Canadian college without
spending time on ESL
courses.
An international family
I came to Canada in 2011
by myself and now I study
 at Centennial College. I
 reached an average GPA
 for 4.025 out of 4.5. But a
 more important
 achievement for me is that
 I made an international
 family here– my Canadian
 mom and my two sisters
from Panama . It was not
 easy to break through the
 cultural differences and
bias. But I think it was
 our sincerity and patience
 that helped us to create
 this family.
Volunteer Experience
I volunteered in Toronto
District School Board
for two weeks. During
that period I worked as
an educational assistant
for special needs
children. Not only I
learned a lot about how
to take care of them
physically, but also I
learned how to enter
their inner little hearts.
It was an amazing
experience.
Language Learning
Chinese is my first
language. I can speak
English fluently as the first
picture shows my English
level. Besides, I have been
learning Korean for several
years and I also started
learning French a month
ago. Language learning is
my life long hobby. I am
pretty proud of my talent
of learning language.
I love traveling. I took the plane Traveling—on my way
to Shanghai by myself when I
was only 12 years old and that
was when I fell in love with
travel. I have been to many
places and I believe that travel
was a special self-reflection of
my heart. Of course, Canada is
the most charming place I have
ever been to. My next
destination is a rural small
village in a western province of
China because I already applied
for volunteering there, teaching
the local school students
English for one month next May.
I am looking forward to this
special trip with meaning.
