Permission letter requesting to allow use of music.

To whom it may cocern:
We are two A-Level students who are currently studying A2 media at Thomas Whitam Sixth Form.
For part of our OCR Media coursework we have been given the task to produce a music video for
‘Apollo’ which we know was written and performed by Hardwell as well as Amba Shepherd. We
would like to request if we would be able to use this piece of exceptional music for non-commercial
reasons. This music video will not be available on any public music sites e.g Youtube and will only be
shown to the current media class which at the moment only consists of around 7 students. We want
to be able to get the very best mark and with this very good piece of music we will be on the right
track!
Our coursework involves the group creating a music video as well as a Digipak and also a magazine
advertisement for the artist. However we will not be using Hardwells or Amba Shepherds name or
image, we would like to just use the song as background. If permission were to be granted, the song
would only be used for coursework and nothing else.
We would be grateful if you could respond.
