The periodic table was created by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in the 19th century. It organizes the chemical elements into rows and columns based on their atomic structure and properties. Elements in the same group have similar characteristics, such as the alkali and alkaline earth metals. The periodic table shows the relationships between elements and can be used to predict properties of undiscovered elements. It provides essential information about common elements like neon, iron, and copper.
Its about Mendeleev and his contribution to the modern periodic table. It also discusses about the advantages and disadvantages of his periodic table. it also has about eka-aluminium which is gallium.

The periodic table, also known as the periodic table of elements, is a tabular display of the chemical elements, which are arranged by atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties. The structure of the table shows periodic trends.

THIS PRESENTATION IS BASED ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF DIFFERENT CHEMIST IN CREATING THE PERIODIC TABLE .IT WILL HELP THE LEARN THE VARIOUS MERITS AND DEMERITS OF VARIOUS METHODS OF CLASSIFYING ELEMENTS
2. Where did the periodic table
come from?
The periodic table was created by a Russian inventor named
Dmitri Mendeleev.
Chemists, Dmitri Mendeleev was born in 1834 and passed away
in 1907.
Using the table, he predicted the properties of elements yet to be
discovered.
3. How is the periodic table
organized?
The periodic table is set in rows and columns. The rows are
called period, where as the columns are called groups.
4. What are the relationships
between each elements?
All the elements have some sort of
relation with one another.
The alkali metals are located in the
same group.
The alkaline earth metals are all also
located in the same group.
5. Element: Neon
Neon is a chemical element with the symbol
Ne and an atomic number 10.
Neon is in group 18 (noble gases) of the
periodic table.
Neon is colorless and odorless.
6. Element: Iron
Iron is a chemical element with the symbol Fe and an atomic
number of 26.
7. Element: Copper
Copper has an atomic number of 29.
Out of all the metals, copper is one of the most likely to be found
in it’s native state.
