This document summarizes a crown lengthening procedure performed on a 52-year-old female patient's tooth #47. The procedure involved raising a partial thickness flap, removing bone around the tooth to increase the clinical crown height, and repositioning the flap in an apical position to allow for secondary healing. While 4mm of bone removal and increased crown height is typically aimed for, this was not fully achieved due to the proximity of the buccal furcation being exposed. The surgery addressed the patient's need for increased crown height to allow for future crown placement on tooth #47.
