The Performance Task:
The learners are expected to create a collage, a decalcomania or a decoupage using
used newspaper or magazine cut-outs, cloth, strings or whatever available materials
they have. The output will be documented through a video which includes before,
during, and after the making. The video will be sent into their teacher’s messenger.
Goal:
The learners are expected to be familiarized with the skills and techniques in making
a contemporary art and be able to come up with collage, decalcomania, or a
decoupage applying the skills and technques learned (MELC - Explicates the use of
materials and the application of techniques..)
Role:
The learner is a contemporary artist and a recycler who uses newspaper or
magazine cut-outs, cloth, strings or whatever available materials to create collage,
decalcomania, or a decoupage
Situation:
Your school celebrates the annual Arts Month and some of the contested activities
are collage, decalcomania, or a decoupage making. You were chosen by your
adviser to represent your class in the said activity. In order for you and your class to
win the said competition, you are expected to come with creative design. Painting
with appropriate colors are allowed during the competition to make it more attractive.
