Entry tips – the basics
• Include ROI figures
• Start early
• Provide clarity in answers
• Follow the entry templates – they are there for guidance to
make the judges scores fair across the board
• Get creative
Common mistakes
• Not getting sign off in time
• Missing the deadline
• Not following the entry template guidelines.
• Going over the allocated space for entries. (Two pages for
entries, and a further two for supporting evidence.)
New categories
• Best Affiliate Marketing Innovation
• Best FMCG Campaign
• Best Influencer Campaign
• Most Creative Performance Marketing Campaign
• Best Integrated Performance Campaign
• Most Effective Agency (and the voting post shortlist)
Verticals
• Verticals are now campaign or activity focused
• A campaign is a goal-driven activity or strategy that delivers
defined objectives
• Between a minimum of two partners (advertiser
and publisher, tech provider and agency)
Industry Choice changes
• Not a nominated award; you must enter via a form. This is
free to enter
• Judges will then create a shortlist based on attributes like
sales, adoption of new technology, range of performance
marketing channels explored and relationships with clients
• Shortlist announced on March 1st alongside all other
shortlisted companies and then open to a public vote which
closes April 7th
Rising Star
• Nominations for this ever popular category are set to close
on December 16
• This year, following an interview with our scrupulous panel of
judges, the shortlisted will have the opportunity to write for
PerformanceIN as part of our Rising Star series before being
handed over to the public for the final vote
