- The PeopleBAWX is a combination of software and hardware. The hardware is used in the Broadcaster.

- The technology that we used were Visual Studio and .NET.
- The PeopleBAWX needs to be a low-cost solution for it to help NGOs achieve the maximum impact. We thus, decided that our software will be provided free of charge to NGOs who want to use the PeopleBAWX as a dissemination tool. NGOs only have to pay for a one-off installation cost -> as shown, the hardware costs less than USD100. Because PeopleBAWX is low-cost, this solution is cheaper than current alternatives that Drishti is using.

- PeopleBAWX may however, incur some monthly expenses. However, we believe that advertising revenue generated will be more than sufficient to cover the monthly expenses. show: increase in purchasing power (an average person in rural India earns USD100 per month, compared to just USD 30 around 15 years ago) Companies which are selling in rural India, and companies which are advertising. - Viability. Transit: Ideologically, PeopleBAWX is able to bring TV and awareness to the masses, and help fulfill Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s vision. However, such an initiative can only be taken up by Content Providing NGOs if they are low-cost, easy to use, and easy to implement. We have thus, approached Drishti Media, who currently broadcasts content using methods such as projectors and cable casting. Indeed, they have been looking for a way to broadcast HIV awareness content, and have expressed a keen interest to use PeopleBAWX technology to help them in broadcasting to a wider audience.
