Several significant treasures have been discovered in Crimea throughout history. The Treasure of Neyzats was discovered in 1886 and contained over 400 silver coins and pieces of women's jewelry from the 14th century. In 2002, a cave containing a ceramic pot with 30 gold coins and over 4,000 silver coins from the 14th-15th centuries was found. In 2003, 99 gold coins from the 6th-5th centuries BC were uncovered during an excavation in Kerch at an ancient city. These treasures, along with others found in Mangup, Alushta, Feodosia and Simferopol provide insight into the history and wealth of Crimea.

weighed about five pounds.
Now the cost of the coins is about $ 30,000.
Unique finding was handed to the
Crimean Museum in Simferopol.

5. In 2003, in Kerch during the excavation of the
ancient city Myrmekion found 99 gold coins VI-
V centuries BC.
Obviously, it was a temple treasure: the
treasure was found when clearing
masonry sanctuary.
On the coins were 53 types of images, and

symbol of the city.

6. During excavations on Mangup was found
Teshkliburunsky treasure - a gold cross with garnet
inlay, gold triangular tubular pendants, earrings.

7. During scientific excavations in the
resort town of Alushta, in 1990,
found the treasure, the largest ever
found in the Crimea.
It were 17 silver ingots weighing 3.5
kg - a real treasure, apparently
belonged to a rich merchant, who was
unable to return to the hidden.

8. 2007, July. On Mount
Tepe-Oba (near Feodosia) in
the forest gardeners have
found ancient vessel full of
silver coins. Weight
treasure - 6 kg (17 th
century).
It consisted of more than 10
thousand Aspro coinage XVI
century. In those days it was a
lot of money: the slave-market of
medieval man Kafa cost 800-900
Aspro, a woman - 600 Aspro.

9. 1967 year. Builders were clearing a place in the pit on
the outskirts of Simferopol. During it was found the
treasure, consisting of 328 items,
weighing nearly 2.6 kg.
The treasure included silver and gold jewelry with
inlays of pearls and precious stones, gold coins,
silverware, jewelry from semiprecious stones.
Among the very few things were a unique
item - a silver plate "paydza." Mongol khans
give it the most faithful men. Paydza allows
its owner go anywhere he want, people had to
fall on their knees in front of him.
