PDHPE teaches students skills related to physical and mental health, sports, nutrition, safety, and self-respect to help them lead healthier and safer lives. It develops physical and mental skills that can be applied outside of school. Students learn the importance of eating healthy, protecting themselves, following safety procedures, and respecting themselves and others through PDHPE courses.

Educating and engaging our youth in sport and health will help them
become healthy adults.

PDHPE develops students physical and mental skills that can be applied to real-world
situations.

3. FOOD
PDHPE educates students to eat healthy is to live healthy.

4. SAFER LIVING
PDHPE teaches students skills that they can use to protect themselves in everyday life. E.g.
road rules, personal safety, emergency procedures, home and rural safety etc.

5. SELF WORTH AND RESPECT
PDHPE teaches students that they should be themselves, respect themselves and everybody else.
