Personal Development, Health and Physical Education teaches children key areas to prepare them for life, including the importance of physical exercise to reduce health risks and improve the body through team sports and movement skills. It also promotes healthy eating by identifying healthy food groups and the need for fruits and vegetables daily, as well as why nutrition is important for growth. Children also learn safety strategies and how to recognize dangerous situations and people, as well as developing interpersonal skills like communication and teamwork through relationships based on trust.
