The Comenius project focuses on promoting environmental citizenship through the establishment of 'green patrols' consisting of student volunteers. These patrols encourage proper recycling practices among peers and foster an environmental consciousness within the school community. Throughout the academic year, different class groups were tasked with overseeing environmental care during playground breaks and reinforcing the importance of respecting school facilities.

3. • The basic function of the green patrols is
prevention. The volunteers will take active part
in the implementation of the green code,
especially during the breaks in the playground.
They will make sure that the rest of the students
use properly the different containers:
• YELLOW – PLASTIC /PACKAGING/BRIKS
• BLUE – PAPER
• BROWN - ORGANIC

4. • To raise environmental consciousness among
the students.
• To treat your schoolmates in a polite way
• To set a good example to your mates
• To give advice and help your mates in order
to recycle.
• To make sure that the students look after the
school facilities
• To value and care the environment.

7. • Along the academic year, each month
each class group was in charge of
taking care of the environment while
having the breaks in the playground.
• The students wore the badges and
made sure that the rest of the sudents
used the containers properly. When a
student didn’t want to follow their
advice, a teacher would help.
