Types of-cofferdams
There are two main types of cofferdams: single wall and double wall. A single wall cofferdam uses a single line of sheet piles and is suitable for small, shallow work areas up to 25 meters deep. A double wall cofferdam uses two lines of sheet piles tied together with the space between filled with sand or clay. It is used for larger, deeper work areas. Both types are constructed by driving guide piles, installing horizontal beams, and securing sheet piles to create the barrier to pump water out of the enclosed area.

Note on tunnel form construction
Tunnel form is a formwork system that allows to cast walls and slabs in one operation on a daily cycle. It combines the speed, quality and accuracy with the flexibility and economy of in-situ construction. Construction durations are reduced significantly by this rapid system when compared to conventional methods. The system creates efficient load-bearing structures which are known as the most earthquake resistant structures. Rohan Builders has adopted the technique at its Rohan Abhilasha project in Wagholi in Pune.

What is Stone Crete Plaster / Exposed Aggregate Plaster?
Stone Crete Plaster is composed of a mix of elements: cement, coarse aggregate (usually crushed stone), fine marble powder and water. You can change the look of the finished plaster by making changes in the elements using white cement instead of gray cement, for example, or using crushed colour glass in place of crushed stone. While Stone Crete Plaster finishers usually hide the aggregate with a smooth layer of cement paste, you can create aesthetically appealing looks by exposing the aggregate.
