As part of the AKQA Future Academy we were set the brief by a recognised high street bank to create a product or service that would define the student experience of tomorrow. This was in order to help the client capture a greater proportion of the student market. We pushed back on the clients understanding of a student and presented to them our product, UpSkill.
Hi, I'm Raymond, a business management graduate with a solid academic background and a comprehensive skill set. Underpinned by experience as a food giant operations manager at Red Ribbon Bakeshop, necessitating excellent performance with proven results and a positive response to pressure. I run a Social media page within the whole Red Ribbon Bakeshop franchise group along our region in doing the digital posting, graphic designing, generating leads, and sales and marketing support. I have enough skills and knowledge in the product listing, product researching, and data entry for such eCommerce websites as Etsy and Shopify. I'm starting to have a Fiverr gig also that offers to remove image backgrounds at its negotiable price.
I have a great passion for working. I want to continue learning and giving my best to be an expert on different crafts and to be highly proficient in my future role.
The presentation is a guide to students to understand the job market scenario. It covers higher education data, desirable skills campus recruiters want in students, Do's and Don'ts for job seekers and students as regards getting a job, job opportunities available, policy changes required etc.
Studies show a disconnect between employers and employees on needed skills. How can training help?
