Reports 2019-20
Annual Report 2019-20
Theacademicyear2019-20hasbeenquite
an unexpected ending for their under
graduation level, especially for the final
students of the batch. Due to the COVID-
19 pandemic scenario the second half of
the year was completely turned off with
all the activities for the students at the
college with the lockdown effect from
March 2020. The pandemic situation took
away the perfect curtains for the final
year batch students of the year. Students
would have never expected the scenario
givingthemaveryunusualendingtotheir
undergraduationcareer.Itisbecausethe
college couldn’t organise the much
awaited college day and graduation day
for the students which turned the
studentstowardsdisappointment.
However, all the other forums and
committees were successful in
organising many events at the intra
collegiate and inter class events for the
students very meaningfully. Erudite
multi-disciplinary national conference
organised by all the departments of the
college was one of the major successful
events of the year. Many delegates,
teachers, scholars and students too
presented papers in the respective
departments. Samsrusti-2020 has been
the other major highlight of the year
whichwasanintra-collegiateculturalfest
conducted successfully. Many renowned
collegesacrossthecitymadeittothefest
and all the language departments also
joined hands in conducting the fest. The
department of sports as every was also
very active in the first part of the
academic year with many major
organisation of university level
competitions like archery and rifle
shooting. NCC cadets and students were
taken to the INS Kadamba naval base to
enrich the students intended to provide
useful information about our Indian Navy
which received much appreciation. Purvi
and Lakshya forums were active and
organised many competitions inter-class
like on-stage events covering dance and
fashion show, Best manager events and
Entrepreneur’s Day were the major ones
amongstalltheotherevents.
Fortunately, for the final year Students
the college could organise the North
Indian Educational trip which the
students look forward to. In the
beginning of the year 2020 final year
students along with faculty escorts
coveredmanymajorplacesofNorthIndia
in the span of 15 days which resulted in
remarkablejourneyforthem.
But, earlier in the year right from the
beginning college has never let short any
chance in organising meaningful and
resourceful events to the students
throughout the academic year until the
covid-19 pandemic had hit the world to
shut it down completely. The ear began
as usually with the successful admission
process of B.Com and BBA based on
which the Management organised the
orientation and merit scholarship
distribution programme at Chowdaiah
memorial hall and later the college also
organised an in-house orientation at the
college campus to provide complete
detailsaboutthecollege.
Apart from these our students were
enthusiastic enough to take part in many
NSS and YRC activities like Social
Overall the scenario at the verge of the
academic year was unpleasant due to the
pandemic situation with college
completely being shut as per the
government order of lockdown; never
letting the students down college
conducted all the classes online to make
sure the better and sufficient ending to
students for their academic curriculum.
The situation at the end did not support
college to conduct as many resourceful
events to the students. However, the
major part of the academic year the
college has not let any opportunity to
conduct any events to enrich the
students’needs.
Awareness camp and Mega voluntary
Blood Donation camp. Not only at the
campus but our students were very
active in participating many cultural and
management competitions organised by
manycollegesacrosstheCity.

The stability of a country greatly depends on the military power. I would like to see India

According to predictions of some of the leading newspapers like Economic Times, India
willbe thirdlargesteconomyby2030.
I wish to see India as the nucleus of quality education by 2030. In 21st century , India will
lead to the rebirth of the modern Ramanujam , Kalidas and other famous personalities in

From becoming self reliant to one of the
fastest growing economies in the world ,
India have made the entire world turn to it
for various reasons of development since
itsindependence.
The development of a country depends on
the initiatives taken by its responsible
citizens. It will be great if we fix 2030 as a

THANKYOU.
There are heroes who have been fighting out there, with the brightest smiles on their
faces. All the doctors, nurses, delivery boys ,police and teachers and all other people who
are helping us during this time need special applause. I’m also thankful for individual
citizens. Thanks to medias like TV, print media and social media, we can now receive a

COVID-19 has given all of us an unexpected break from our daily life routines. It seems to

all around the world. The crisis created by this virus is very alarming and the number of
cases is increasing day by day. People are forced to stay indoors and are asked to follow
socialdistancing.Thelockdownwhichwasnecessaryhasaffectedpeoplefromallwalksof
life. While most of the people have accepted the seriousness of the pandemic, and there
are many expectations too. No doubt this fight against the virus by the whole world has

Anyways With all this in the background, some like-minded people in our circle are helping
financially and emotionally all those who have served and are serving us. Our heroes are
not the ones who have superpowers but the ones who without any powers, are out there
helpingusduringthepandemicoutbreak.
The virus is impacting our health, our emotional well-being, our finances, our businesses,
our economy and even our food supply. So who is responsible? Is it a virus or careless of

Annual Report 2019-20 Theacademicyear2019-20hasbeenquite anunexpected ending for their under graduation level, especially for the final students of the batch. Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic scenario the second half of the year was completely turned off with all the activities for the students at the college with the lockdown effect from March 2020. The pandemic situation took away the perfect curtains for the final year batch students of the year. Students would have never expected the scenario givingthemaveryunusualendingtotheir undergraduationcareer.Itisbecausethe college couldn’t organise the much awaited college day and graduation day for the students which turned the studentstowardsdisappointment. However, all the other forums and committees were successful in organising many events at the intra collegiate and inter class events for the students very meaningfully. Erudite multi-disciplinary national conference organised by all the departments of the college was one of the major successful events of the year. Many delegates, teachers, scholars and students too presented papers in the respective departments. Samsrusti-2020 has been the other major highlight of the year whichwasanintra-collegiateculturalfest conducted successfully. Many renowned collegesacrossthecitymadeittothefest and all the language departments also joined hands in conducting the fest. The department of sports as every was also very active in the first part of the academic year with many major organisation of university level competitions like archery and rifle shooting. NCC cadets and students were taken to the INS Kadamba naval base to enrich the students intended to provide useful information about our Indian Navy which received much appreciation. Purvi and Lakshya forums were active and organised many competitions inter-class like on-stage events covering dance and fashion show, Best manager events and Entrepreneur’s Day were the major ones amongstalltheotherevents. Fortunately, for the final year Students the college could organise the North Indian Educational trip which the students look forward to. In the beginning of the year 2020 final year students along with faculty escorts coveredmanymajorplacesofNorthIndia in the span of 15 days which resulted in remarkablejourneyforthem. But, earlier in the year right from the beginning college has never let short any chance in organising meaningful and resourceful events to the students throughout the academic year until the covid-19 pandemic had hit the world to shut it down completely. The ear began as usually with the successful admission process of B.Com and BBA based on which the Management organised the orientation and merit scholarship distribution programme at Chowdaiah memorial hall and later the college also organised an in-house orientation at the college campus to provide complete detailsaboutthecollege. Apart from these our students were enthusiastic enough to take part in many NSS and YRC activities like Social

Overall the scenarioat the verge of the academic year was unpleasant due to the pandemic situation with college completely being shut as per the government order of lockdown; never letting the students down college conducted all the classes online to make sure the better and sufficient ending to students for their academic curriculum. The situation at the end did not support college to conduct as many resourceful events to the students. However, the major part of the academic year the college has not let any opportunity to conduct any events to enrich the students’needs. Awareness camp and Mega voluntary Blood Donation camp. Not only at the campus but our students were very active in participating many cultural and management competitions organised by manycollegesacrosstheCity.
