Donna Tremblay recommends Denise Brumley for a position. Tremblay supervised Brumley for two months as an intern at Parallon, where Tremblay has worked for 25 years overseeing education programs. Brumley demonstrated strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills during her internship. She was chosen to present her capstone project to leadership, delivering detailed material and answering high-level questions skillfully. Due to Brumley's finance aptitude and analytical abilities, Tremblay is confident she would be a great asset to any team.
Most companies have a process/roundtable during which senior managers makes decisions about end of year compensation and promotions. As a line manager, your role is to make recommendations on behalf of your team members. At the same time, other managers will be doing the same, so being prepared/convincing can make a big difference in the outcomes.
This deck can be used as a worksheet to help prepare for those roundtables.

To whom it may concern:
My name is Donna Tremblay, and I have known Denise Brumley for two months. She worked
for me as a full time (compensated) summer intern at Parallon, which is a subsidiary of HCA,
where I am the Director of Education. In my position, which I have held for 25 years, I lead,
guide and direct a team of educators and developers, and also oversee not only the professional
development curriculum for 2,000 employees, but the Summer Intern Program (SIP) and also the
Manager in Training Program (MIT) for Georgia, South Carolina, Nevada & California.
Denise has strong organizational skills, cerebral horse power, and analytical skills. Denise
worked well with her business owners for her assigned project. At the end of the intern program,
she was chosen to deliver her capstone presentation (project findings) to the leadership team,
which was comprised of the CEO and Regional Vice President. She delivered it with a high level
of detail in regards to her presentation material and skillfully fielded high-level questions. Denise
is a driven, positive, motivated employee with amazing potential.
In summation, due to her natural finance aptitude and excellent analytical skills, I would
definitely recommend that you consider Denise for a position. I am confident that she would be
as great an asset to your team as she was to our summer intern program.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance. I can be reached at the contact
information below.
Sincerely,
Donna Tremblay
