The History of the Globe Theatre Today we know of The Globe Theatre on
because of the famous playwright and director known as William Shakespeare. The
events which took place in The Globe s past and what is its future may be, have
become, and will be, an important part of the history of theater and drama. This paper
will discuss the history of the Globe theatre, the importance it held at its time, and the
importance of The Globe Theater now and in the future.
In 1576, during the Elizabethan era, James Burbage and a partner went to a
landlord, Giles Allen, to lease some land for a theater. Giles and James agreed to a 21
year lease in which James would be allowed to build his theatre known as The Theatre
. It was located north of the London Wall (Mabillard). Starting in 1596, when the
lease for the land for the theatre was due to expire, there were many legal issues
between the landlord and tenant. There were also disputes between those involved in
running the business. James Burbage died in 1567 and he left his two sons, Richard

The time of pure innocence in other words, childhood. When I visualize my
childhood, I can hear faint laughter in the distance and I feel serenity wash over

1. Goals/Objectives for the negotiation
The main objective of this negotiation is to protect the reputation of the Statler Hotel,
often the quality of a Hotel s restaurant is judged by the quality of the coffee served,
we need to successfully go through the negotiation to increase the perceived quality
of the Hotel.
In order to be able to serve a quality coffee, we need to get a good price per pound,
the Hotel is currently under close scrutiny of its costs and even though we re really
interested on Anderson s coffee, we can t pay any price, we need a competitive price
(at least under $7.40 per pound) to justify the higher expense.
Other objectives include getting deliveries at least every two weeks, secure the price
for a specific time and negotiate the quantity we would order and the repair on the

from when the conductor was welcomed by members of the orchestra to when the

the meaning of every movement while enjoying the choral. By looking at the
members of the large orchestra I could tell they were eager to please. Also the fact
that they had rehearsed gave them confidence which was fully in display.
On the day of the rehearsals, I see people everywhere (on the orchestra and audience
setting) mingling with each other and the murmurs take over the hall. The orchestra

There is a strong contrast in this poem between the old, weary, lonely poet and the
apparently ever youthful, energetic and powerful swans. Yeats journey to
Byzantium in Sailing to Byzantium is due to the fact that he wishes to become

country for old men and criticizes those who get too caught up in the wonders of

aspects to architecture. Seen as an artistic style, Baroque was a powerful period, full
