Palladium is an alloy made from a solid-gas solution of hydrogen and carbon molecules, which is rare. It has various industrial and jewelry uses. While less common than gold, palladium remains expensive, costing around $400 per gram, and was even more costly historically, exceeding the price of platinum in the late 1800s. Palladium has notable chemical and physical properties including being ductile, resistant to tarnish, and able to absorb large amounts of hydrogen.

2. Palladium is made out of a solid-gas solution which is very rare. They are made out of hydrogen molecules and carbon molecules. This is an alloy that is not a that of common alloy but, this is also not such of a rare kind of an alloy.

3. Some uses are making world war II boots, making jewelry, Russian coins, pipes, amplifier, expensive wires, and even used for one of the most expensive wheels! Those are some great uses for palladium.

4. The chemical formula is Pd0.8Pt0.1Fe0+0.05 for palladium.

5. Palladium cost 1/3 of platinum which is $400 per gram. That's expensive! Then, the cost per carat is about $80! If you want your house to be made out of palladium, it would cost your life-long savings!

Palladium can absorb up to 900 times its own volume of hydrogen - the most common element in the universe. In the late 1800s, Palladium was more expensive than Platinum.
