1. Calm animals are easier to handle than excited or fearful animals, and it can take 20-30 minutes for an excited animal to calm down.
2. Small distractions like shadows, reflections, moving objects or people that humans don't notice can cause animals to balk or refuse to move.
3. Non-slip flooring is essential in areas where animals are handled, as slipping makes animals more agitated. Loose chains or other items that may scare animals should be secured.

Livestock play an important role in most small-scale farming systems throughout the world.
They provide traction to cultivate fields, manure to maintain crop productivity, and nutritious food products for human consumption and income-generation.
Despite the importance of livestock, inadequate livestock nutrition is a common problem in the developing world, and a major factor affecting the development of viable livestock industries in poor countries.
Thus the feed resources plays a major role in farm animals.

What is Sense?
Sense is an interaction between a stimulus and a response. For example- Have you ever touched a hot vessel? what happens then?
Do you know the different types of senses?
They are sight, hearing, Touch, Taste and smell. Do you know that animals have stronger senses than us?
For example- Have you seen a shoot up the ears when you walk past it, have you seen ants moving in a straight line.
How they could see from hundreds of meters height. because Eagles, vultures can see four times further than we can. if you can see after two meters away. then they can see up to eight meters.
Why do the dogs shoot up its ears when you walk past it?
The dogs hearing is very sharp therefore it can hear you even if he is sleeping so for a hearing is its super sense.
What about the mosquitoes? how could the mosquitoes find you? sometimes it manages to sneak into your blanket – how does it know you are there?
A can smell you. they can find you by the smell of your body, the soles of your feet So, for a smell is its super sense.
in this you would find amazing pictures of some rare and beautiful animals with a long simple explanation, with sound by me........... so you needn't waste time in reading, just hear and enjoy my presentation!!!

41. Point of Balance Principles
! It is at the shoulder when the handler is close to
cattle in chutes.
! It is usually just past the eye when the handler is
further away.
! To make an animal move forward, the handler
must be behind the point of balance.
42. If an animal rears, back up
and get out of its flight zone
43. The size of the flight zone will vary
depending upon genetics and
previous experience
Animals want to see you
44. If the handler gets too close, the
animals will turn back
The handler
should back
away
45. Dogs around the chutes stress cattle
because they cannot move away.
They may also teach cattle to kick
46. The flight zone becomes smaller when
the person does not stare at the animal
47. The flight zone becomes bigger when a
person makes themselves big
48. The handler is positioned behind the point of
balance at the shoulder to move the horse forward
66. People should be the leader
of the pack with dogs
Grazing animals should be reared and housed with
their own kind so that bulls will direct aggression
towards other bulls instead of people
67. Handle the dominant animal first
Use only natural animal behavior
patterns to exert dominance
