5. WHY did you leave your Work Area?
• Was it because you did not Plan Ahead by
ordering enough Material & the Proper Tools
at least 1-Week in Advance?

• Since this was a large project, was there a
well-trained Material & Tool Expediting
Professional on the jobsite?
• Remember, your Failure to Plan Ahead does NOT
Constitute an Emergency Response from the
other team members.
6. Where is the HIGHER Cost?
• The HIGHER Cost though is the Fall in Productivity due to
the Loss of Momentum when you lose your rhythm.

• ADD to that the Lost Production which will result in the
Company having to ADD Workers to meet the
Construction Production Schedule because you left your
work area consistently and did not install as much as was
planned for in the 3-Week Man-Loading Look Ahead.
• Now that the Job is Behind Schedule your customer
Demands that the Crew(s) will also have to work
Overtime.
• Your customer has now Lost Faith in your Company’s
Ability to meet the Schedule & this could cost the
company Future Work.
