The 5B Best Bets Class is holding an overnight camp out on October 11-12 to take advantage of the Ramadan holiday. They will organize all-night tournaments in futsal, basketball, and dodgeball, and cap the night with a midnight water balloon war game. Students should bring sleeping bags, blankets, extra clothes, insect repellent, food, and pay a 150 peso fee. The event will be held at the school gym from 6pm on October 11 to 6am on October 12. Parents are asked to allow their sons to participate in this exciting class activity.

LATIN TERMS IN WRITING
This document defines and provides examples of common Latin terms used in writing. It discusses terms such as:
- Sic - Used in brackets to indicate a direct quotation contains a spelling or grammatical error.
- Id est and i.e. - Mean "that is" and are used to provide an example or explanation of a statement.
- Deus ex machina - Refers to an artificial or improbable plot resolution, originally referring to ancient plays resolving plots via a machine lowering in God.
- Exempli gratia and e.g. - Mean "for the sake of example" and introduce examples that follow.
LATIN FOR ERUDITION SESSION 2

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

- 1. 5B BEST BETS October 2, 2007 Dear 5B Best Bets Parents, Next week, October 11 to 12, 2007 (Thursday to Friday), 5B Best Bets Class is holding an overnight camp out in Southridge to take advantage of the Ramadan Holiday declared by Malacanang. Through this activity, we hope to be able to offer the boys alternative forms of recreation other than playing computer games or playstation, etc. We will organize an all-night Tournament in Futsal, Basketball and Dodgeball.
