Tickets go on sale November 15 at lunch for $5.
Tickets at the door cost $10.

3. INTERMEDIATE BOYS VOLLEYBALL (7-8’s)
Congratulations! The boys
worked super hard and played
well as a team at the
tournament in Innisdale on
Friday night. They represented
SCI very well. Good luck today as
they head to New Lowell after
school.
4. Attention all Senior Girls wanting
to play volleyball this year…. We
will be having two tryouts this
week and need everyone to
attend. They will be Tuesday and
Thursday afterschool. Please
speak to Ms. P if you are unable to
attend.

6. Attention skiiers! Our Spartan Ski Team is getting
ready for another exciting season. If you’re
interested in skiing for SCI, meet Mr. Morris today at
11:00 in Guidance.
7. LAST CALL! This is the last call for
any of our grades 9-12 girls
interested in learning about
women in skilled trades. The field
trip is next week. See Mr. Morris
or Ms. Gowan for a permission
slip.
8. Volunteer Information Opportunity
Sunset Manor representatives will be here on Thursday November
15th at lunch time to talk to students about volunteering with them.
Sunset is a great place for students to complete their mandatory
volunteer hours while learning and building new skills.
9. Are you in grades 9-12? Are you currently taking French in
Semester 1 or 2? Are you looking to escape the snow… for MORE
SNOW? Mme has the trip for you. Come to an info meeting next
week on Wednesday to learn more about our Quebec Trip this
February 14-18. Let’s go check out Carnaval and hug Bonhomme!

13. Medical School Info Session for Students
• University of Toronto Family Medicine and RVH are partnering with
Simcoe County school boards to present “What to Expect at Medical
School.” If you or a family member are interested in a future career in
medicine, then please join us at Bear Creek Secondary School on
Tuesday, November 27th at 6 p.m. Tests, finances, schedules and more
will be discussed first-hand by residents, current med students and
the teaching unit of U of T Family Medicine. See guidance to sign up!
