This document provides instructions for borrowing eBooks from the San Francisco Public Library using the Overdrive app on Android devices. It outlines the steps to sign into the Overdrive app, search for and borrow an available eBook in EPUB format, download it to the Overdrive app on an Android device, and optionally return the eBook early.

11. The item is now
checked out and
you can open up

app on your Android

open the OverDrive App

13. If San Francisco Public Library is not
on your list, click “Add a Library”
and select San Francisco Public
Library (any branch is fine) from the
list
Click on San Francisco
Public Library to get your
eBook

14. Sign In

15. Enter Library card
number and PIN to
Login

16. Click ‘Account’ icon

17. Click Download, select EPUB
Book, and click Confirm &
Download

18. If you have not already
created an Adobe ID, you
will be prompted to create
one now

Bookshelf

22. If you want to return the
item early, click + on the
right side of the screen, and
select Return/Delete
