This document describes and provides close-up images of different parts of human skin. It shows a wart on a finger which looks like a bump or hill. Under magnification, wart cells resemble hexagonal turtle shells tightly packed together. An ear's inner skin curls like an upside-down bunny ear to protect the inner structures, and tiny hairs block dust and insects. Leg skin under magnification resembles fish scales or snowflakes. Neck skin appears as wrinkled sand sprinkled with sparkles under close examination.

2. This is a Wart on a finger It looks like a bump on your skin. It looks rough and it’s raised up like a hill on a paddock.

5. A Close up of an Ear Inside an ear It looks like a bunnies ear upside down. The skin curls around to protect the inside of the ear. Soft, tiny hairs protect the inside by stopping dust and insects. If you look carefully sometimes you can see wax. It’s sticky and it helps things stick to the walls of the ear so they don’t go deeper into the ear.

6. This is a healing nose. This is a piece of skin that looks like boiled bubble. If you look closer you can see little hairs.

7. Leg skin This is a knee. It has a lot of lines. This picture looks like fish scales. It looks like snowflakes falling in the winter and shooting stars flying threw the sky.

8. Sparkling neck This looks like sand sprinkled with sparkles.If you look closely you can see wrinkles.
