1. Our Holiday

2. In the holidays my
Grandparents took my
brother and I on a house
bus. We were staying for a
night. Grandpa had a sore
arm and it hurt a lot.
They took us to Amberley
pools. I went on the big
slide.

3. My mum, cousin and I went to the New Brighton fish 'n chip shop.
As we got closer to the shop I could smell the delicious smell and I
told Mum to hurry up.

4. In the holidays I went to the
New Brighton beach with my
Mum, Dad and my dog Sage.
I made a sandcastle and saw
a crab.
When I went to swim I got
heaps of salt water in my
mouth. It was yucky! I had a
water fight with my dog.
After that we came up to the
sand for a picnic. I had a
lollipop and a piece of
chocolate cake.
After that we went back
home and had a goody
goody gumdrop ice-cream.

5. In the holidays I went surfing. The waves were over my head. The
waves sounded like a big bucket of water tipping in the ocean. I
hated the sea water, it was very salty. Then I was hold. I had a big
snooze.

6. For Xmas we got a puppy.
When Peanut went to the
backyard for the first time
he had fun. He is 6
months old. His favourite
food is pig ears.
We built home a kennel
and he likes it. Peanut
looks after us. Now he has
a ball and food comes out
of it.

7. On my birthday I had a cake. It was a doughnut cake and it was
yummy. It had icing on it and sprinkles. I got ten presents. My
favourite present was the potato gun.

8. In the holidays I went to
Kaikoura then I got a
drink of coke and fish 'n
chips. We went to the
Kaikoura beach. The
fish 'n chips was yummy.
On the way our car tyre
ran out of air, so Dad had
to out a space saver on.
My Dad found a nail in the
tyre.

9. On Christmas Eve Santa gave Ollie, Millah, Mum, Dad and I
presents. My dog Bella got a present too. The tree glowed up and
the lollies tasted so sugary. The tree smelt like new presents and
chocolate.

10. I went to my friend's
house. I bought my
caterpillar.
I went to a party and we
had fizzy that was
raspberry.
We had chocolate...it
was yummy and
surgary.

11. In the weekend I went to Hamner Springs. It was fun. We went to
the shop and I had lollies. They tasted like sour fruit. Then we
went to the cabin.

12. In the holidays I went to
Sumner with my whole
family. My half brother and
I went boogie boarding. A
whole heap of water went
into my mouth. I caught a
huge wave.
After that we had fish 'n
chips and pizza. It was
delicious. We had a
shower at the beach and
got the sand out of our
togs.

13. In the holidays I went to the New Brighton beach and I picked the
sand up. I went swimming in the beach and I played on the
playground. I brought a cream freeze with a flake. I brought fish
'n chips for lunch.

14. In the holidays I went to
New Brighton beach.
My sister and I built a
sandcastle and it was
big.
The sand felt like silk
and smelled like the
sea.

15. In the weekend I went to New Brighton beach. I made a
sandcastle. Then I played in the water.

16. In the weekend I went
to New Brighton beach.
I went in the water and
my Mum gave me a
necklace. She found it
in the waves and it had
a pearl on it.
We got some string and
connected the necklace
together. We then went
home.

17. I went to Kaikoura. I picked up fifty crabs. I got a pot and a lid. I
put the crabs in it. There was a really big crab. It could probably
nip your fingers, but I still picked it up!

18. In the holidays I went to
the beach. I swam in the
water and I got salt water
in my mouth. It tasted
like salty water and made
my tummy gurgle.
It sounded like waves
crashing into the pier.
Then we walked home.

19. In the holidays I went to
Taylor's Mistake beach.
I dipped my feet in the
water and it was so warm.
