This document discusses and compares different data standards used in tourism: DRV GlobalTypes, EDF, and OTDS. DRV GlobalTypes provide a uniform coding system for tourism offers and services. EDF is a proprietary XML format for exchanging tourism offer and product data. OTDS is an open, non-proprietary XML standard developed collaboratively to support data exchange, including DRV GlobalTypes and incremental updates.
