The MoLA Osteology team has been analyzing human remains since 2005, examining over 3000 burials and housing over 4000 skeletons currently. They have published various studies on topics like clay pipe smoking, anatomical procedures, and human hair, and have collaborated with other institutions on projects like using x-rays and an Oracle database. The team, led by Natasha Powers and Don Walker, also provides assessments and reports to clients and assists with over 60 forensic call-outs.
