The skills audit identified skills in digital technology like using Adobe Photoshop and video equipment. Post-production skills with Final Cut Pro software were also developed for editing video and audio. Research and planning tasks like researching the noir genre and creating storyboards helped the smooth progression of the film. Conventions from analyzed media texts provided inspiration. Creativity was exercised in steering ideas away from conventions to make the portfolio and storyboard more original. Conner hopes to further develop these skills during the next project.
Digipak analysis 2 m83 hurry up, we're dreaming

- 1. Opie Task Evaluation Above is the finished piece of work that I had to do, a picture in the style of Julian Opie’s famous ‘Blur Greatest Hits’ artwork, which was accomplished by using Adobe Photoshop. First of all, I took a photo of myself using the Photo Booth program and uploaded it to Photoshop. From there I used the magnet tool to trace around separate parts of my photo: my hair, my face, my neck and the rest of my body, and used different layers to keep the individual parts separate. During this I mainly made use of the magnet tool and the fill effect tool. I had no problems while doing the task, and I feel as if the whole task went smoothly.
