2. Press the ‘Windows’ button
and ‘S’ for search
Type in ‘Adobe’ and select the Purple icon
from the list of possibilities that shows up
Alternatively, press the ‘Windows’ button
and return to the home screen and look for
This same icon
3. Once you
click on
‘Elements’
this box will
appear in the
centre of the
screen. Click
on ‘Video
Editor’ and
select ‘New
Project’
Adobe will
continue to open a
new project. Once
here you want to
save to the
M-Drive
5. At this point the box
will show in the centre
of the screen like this.
NOTE: Where you save
it is important!
Call it what you want:
Andy’s project, The
Hunt For Red
October, Ouisdfgho.
(I don’t care what you
call it as long as you
know what it is –
leaving it as ‘My new
video project 1’ will
get confusing if the
other people using
this computer do the
same.)
Don’t just hit ‘Enter’! This will save it
probably in your H-Drive. There is not
enough room there and it will, most likely,
crash. Save it in the M-Drive of the
computer. Then you can press ‘Save’
6. Once you are at a page that looks like this and it is saved, you’re
good to edit.
