CONCEPT

 1ST EDITION| 2008: SEEDS PLANTED

The event was the first to bring to Brazil the discussion about the
applicability of open innovation in our context, bringing the very creator
of the concept of open innovation, Henry Chesbrough, to interact with
specialists, executives, academics and formulators of public policies.

 2ND EDITION| 2009: EXPERIENCES EXCHANGED

The success of the event and the good receptivity of the managers made
the second edition a reality, creating a moment where disciples of open
innovation could meet and exchange experiences.
Lasting two days, the event saw the exclusive participation of Prof.
Chesbrough and 46 panel members in 4 discussion panels and 6
technical sections. 350 participants registered representing 156 different
  institutions.
2009 was the official launch of the Open Innovation Center –
Brazil, an initiative of Chesbrough and Brazilian companies and
                                              institutions.

 3RD EDITION| 2010: TRAINING GIVEN
Besides maintaining the 2009 format, the Center offered an intensive
course, with the participation of professor Chesbrough, so that those
who practice open innovation could improve their knowledge of the best
practices and challenges and so that they could carry out increasingly
successful open innovation programs that made an impact.
