My OER journey so far & in the future
 Participated in the 2-week online, asynchronous course
“How to Use Open Educational Resources (OER)” Course
offered by the Washington State Board for Community
and Technical Colleges (SBCTC)
 Discovered that course materials and textbooks in my
specific subject areas are virtually non-existent
 Was able to locate other resources (images, videos) that I
may be able to use in my courses
 Will explore creating some OERs in my subject area
