ABSTRACT
• We all know that nowadays crime rate is frequently increasing day by day in our
society. From this we get an idea to develop the system.
• Problem was that people got tired by going here and there for getting justice.
• So our application is capable of registering FIR online, shows investigation update,
deliver news about crime etc.
• So it is an website which provide solution to the problems faced during taking
actions against crime.
THE PROBLEM
• For reporting crime online and track the
crime status.
What the project is?
• Only the crime was reported, no action
were seen on online portal.
What the problem was
faced before?
• Because people are unaware.
Why should this problem
be solved?
• By tracking the online status Complaints.
How will I know this
problem has been solved?
EXISTING CRIME
REPORTING
• What is my research?
• That all existing website doesn’t have any status report for any
complaints or crime.
• Some of the some of sample that we taken into consideration:
PROJECT MODEL
• The best workable solution
SDLC
• Spiral Model (The incomplete
versions of software program being
developed)
TESTING THE MODEL
• This module is tested by the following testing methods:
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Assertion Testing
• Direct/cash Conversion
• In unit testing, the different modules of software were tested
independently to locate error. The helps in locating error in
coding and logic that were contained within a particular
module.
• Integrated testing: After unit testing, combined testing of all
the modules was carried out. The purpose was to determine
that all the modules are correctly integrated with each other.
• System testing: Final testing was done the entire system to
check that whether the desired specification and requirement
are met or not. The main aim here was to determine the
inconsistencies in the developed system.
• Direct/cash Conversion: in this approach, the entire system is
installed, the old system is completely dismantled leaving the

LIMITATIONS
• Only admin and member can login this portal.
• In our websites live chat app functionality is not available.
• Visitors can only see informations like news , guidelines,
crime types , emergency contacts , about us etc.
• Internet connection is mandatory.
CODING TIPS
• Coding uses so much creativity This involves creating our own designs, including graphics,
animations, storytelling, and building our own imaginary worlds and characters.
• Breaking down a big, complex problem into a series of small, achievable steps.
• Students get the opportunity of building projects together
• We are actually building a product. We are not just reading and researching about it. At the
end of the day, students get to build something that they can share with family and friends.
FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
•To allocate the nearest police station for the users.
•Admin portion will be broaden and extended to make it more feasible.
•In future ,system will provide mail facility to members. Members can send mail to other stations
•Inquiry: Any query related to investigation.
•In future ,system will provide facility to send message related to crime to the peoples.
•In future ,system will provide online live chat application.
CONCLUSION
As a result the, crime reporting system needs to embrace new technologies.
This report has presented a simple, convenient, cost –effective, but efficient
online crime reporting system with a user-friendly, sensitive and intelligible
web interface. Whereby it can be accessed at any time provided there is
internet connection.
The main feature of our project is check the status and track the report or the
complaints made.
