This document proposes an online cloud-based compilers system. It discusses the background and motivation for the system, including reducing hardware costs and management efforts. The problem is defined as creating a system that allows users to write, edit, compile and run programs using cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS). A literature survey compares existing online compilers and JavaScript-based editors. The proposed system architecture includes a client-side editor and compiler interface that communicates with a server-side compiler. The conclusion states that the system could provide a solution for online compilers that require hardware support and enable further research.
