The businessman said, “but there is so many of them. How can you save them
all?” The little girl replied, “ Well, I can’t save them all, but at least I
can save this one.” She took the starfish she had in her hand and put it
back to safety in the sea.

What does this story tell you about contributing to community?

Your contribution doesn’t have to be a Big Effort. Just by being who you are,
you will be making a difference in the lives of those you will be touching.

Tips in providing SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY


    Be aware of what is happening in the community around you. YOU ARE
     NEEDED.


  Look at areas for improvement in your community. See it as your mission
     or purpose in life.



  Check your newspaper and find things that you love about your
     community and take part in them.
