Andrew Davis started his career in journalism in Spain, as a freelancer. He then got a staff
position with Bloomberg and now is a reporter for Bloomberg in Honk Kong. Although he
started his career many years ago, his experience was very interesting to me, since he manage to
make the transition from freelance journalist to staff correspondent. He was at the right place at
the right moment: Bloomberg was starting its operation in Europe in that period, and, as Davis
said, It was desperately looking for reporters in Spain. He also has many connections in Europe,

Beowulf is an Anglo Saxon epic about a young Swedish warrior and the three great monsters he
faces. Although oral for a long time, Beowulf was recorded in Old English sometime between
700 and 1000 CE. Through the use of alliteration and symbolism, the legend of Beowulf
characterizes Anglo Saxon principles of loyalty, bravery, and good lordship. In it s Old English
form it used caesuras and alliterations in the same way modern English poetry uses meter and
rhyme to make the poem flow. Beowulfwas originally in dactylic hexameter like most epic poetry,
including Homer and The Iliad. Dactylic hexameter has 6 meters (often syllables) where the third
meter alliterates with the first or second meter but never the fourth. This complicated formula...

evolutionary and ecological characteristics of water use in apes with video evidence of apes
swimming and diving. It also presents a hypothesis to discover the lack of instinct for swimming in
primates and humans.
The research started with two types of apes: a chimpanzee, Cooper, and an orangutan, Suryia.
Both were raised around humans and showed an interest in water at young ages. Cooper began

stronger swimmer. In the beginning of 2012, Suryia began swimming with his head above water
and now swims further distances. Although Cooper and Suryia learned to swim in two different
places and one was intentionally taught to swim unlike the other they both had similar swimming
techniques. In both situations, the apes were introduced to water in the shallow end of the pool so
they could reach the ground. Then they were slowly presented with deeper levels of water.
Ultimately, this shows that apes are not unable to swim, but they must learn it because they do not

13. The Analysis of the Ending of the Grapes of Wrath
When you think of the word end you think of the end of a book or movie when the true definition
is a final part of something, esp. a period of time, an activity, or a story or the furthest or most
extreme part or point of something. Webster The ending of The Grapes of Wrath is just that the
most extreme. There are those who believe that the ending of this book is highly inappropriate and
should be banned from schools for the content. However those people are uneducated and cannot
look beyond the words to see that the ending is seen as beautiful. The true meaningof the end is
about new life, second chances, and the innate kindness that lies within all people.
The ending is about new life because of Rose of Sharon s baby and what it truly meant to the Joad
family. Throughout the entire novel you experience Rose of Sharon pregnancy and her struggle
to sustain both herself and a child. Generally babies represent new life, a fresh start, exactly what
the Joad family was looking for from the start of the novel. Unfortunately the baby does not
make it, this is very sad, but also a sigh of relief for the family. If the baby would have survived
then that meant one more mouth to feed. Fortunately she still had her breast milk and used it to
help another life, Says he wasn t hungry, or he jus et. Give me the food. Now he s too weak. Can

Mermaids, half human, half fish, have been the subject of sailors fishtails for hundreds of years.
Obviously the idea of mermaids is nothing but mythology, nevertheless, you still find people
trying to prove the existence of these mythical beings. Popular culture has depicted mermaids in
two drastically different ways. One, as beautiful creatures able to draw in anyone without saying
a word, who will do no harm to humans; some go as far as saying they will help humans. The
other, as evil, conniving creatures, eager to lead men to their deaths. Long before there were
mermaids ,some 4,000 years ago, there was Ea, the Babylonian God of the sea. He had the lower

Manatees are animals with a large body and a battle shaped tale, with a round face. They move

16. A Clockwork Orange, by Stanley Kubrick
In this essay I will be exploring how the dystopian society in Stanley Kubrick s 1971 film
adaptation of Anthony Burgess 1963 novel, A Clockwork Orange has been used to explore
contemporary anxieties. A Clockwork Orange takes place in an outlandish and dreary vision of
future Britain governed by an oppressive, totalitarian super government. In this society, ordinary
people have fallen into a dazed state of complacency, unaware of the sinister growth of a rampant,
violent youth culture.
Anthony Burgess wrote his short novel A Clockwork Orangein 1962 as a way of coming to terms
with the rape of his first wife. The dystopian journey of A Clockwork Orangeis told through the
first person account of Alex, the fifteen year old anti hero of the novel who narrates in a teenage

together with his band of droogs, Georgie, Pete and Dim, who fill themselves up with milk laced

In one of their most atrocious crimes, Alex and his band of droogs force their way into the home
of a couple, where they rape the woman as her husband is forced to watch. The turning action
comes when they then head back to the Korova, where they fight with each other. Alex, who loves

19. The Pontic And Anatolian Genocide
Genocide is the mass killing of a certain group of people. The Greeks, also known as the Pontic
and Anatolian Greeks, were victims to a mass killing ordered by the Ottoman Empire during
World War I. The Ottomans established their empire in Anatolia otherwise known as the Asia
Minor, and the Asia Minor is present day Turkey. The Ottomans had first conquered the Greeks
in Anatolia, but the conquered Greeks with the help of Great Powers were able to overthrow the
Ottomans and establish their own state. Their Greek State was established along the Balkan
Peninsula, but most of the Greeks still inhabited Anatolia where the Ottomans still ruled. Since
the Ottomans felt humiliated about the Greek victory, they went on a revenge tour against the
Anatolians and caused a genocide. The Ottomans ordered for the mass killing of Greek civilians
in the Asia Minor because of difference in religious beliefs and to get revenge. The main reasons
as to why the Ottomans ordered for the mass killing of Anatolians are difference in religious
belief, revenge, and the fear of the Greeks helping enemy countries during World War II. The
Ottomans or the Turks main religion was Islam. We have seen many genocides and wars due to

The battle of Ap Bac was a small battle engaged between the Army of the Republic of Vietnam
(ARVN) and the insurgents, or the People Liberation Armed Forces (Viet Cong AKA VC) with
the assistance of American s weapons and advice during the Vietnam War. It took place on 2
January, 1963, near a small village named Ap Bac which is located approximately 65 km
southwest of Saigon in the Mekong Delta. (Starry, 2002). As a senior leader, it is important that
we have to be technically and tactically proficient. In order to be proficient, we not only need to
be trained, but also we have to know how to gain experience from past battles in history using
battle assessment, and critical thinking process to study the battle. That way, we know what needs
to be improved, how to sustain it, and how would we execute it better next time. Therefore,
studying the history of the battle of Ap Bac will enhance the knowledge of how the commanders
used the most effective and efficient method for applying decisive action on the battle field. It
would be a successful outcome for the South Vietnamese ARVN, and Kennedy s administration
would have gained more trust from American people for the presence of American troops in
Vietnam, if the American advisers and the ARVN s commanders would have integrated intelligence

Under the rule of King George III, many colonists felt robbed of their rights and freedoms.
Consistently abused by the British government, the colonists decided to ask for freedom. The
colonists were considered citizens of Great Britain, therefore forcing them to follow any of
Great Britain s laws. Colonists learned to depend on Britain for supplies and products to help
their economy, which increased Britain s economy as well. The colonists had to listen and obey
all ranges of Britain s government and faced consequences if they rebelled. The passing of these
three acts limited the colonist s privileges and resulted in them yearning for freedom. The Tea Act,
Stamp Act and Intolerable Acts were the most important in leading the colonists to writing the
Declaration of Independence. The ratification of the Stamp Act, Tea Act, and Intolerable Act
occurred within 1765 1774. Each act forced colonists to pay a tax or limit their rights, whether to
create revenue for the British government or keep tighter controls on the country and economy.
These three acts pushed the colonists further into their dream for independence. They drew up the
Declaration of Independence, which asked King George III for freedom from the British. The
Stamp Act was approved following the French and Indian War. The passing of this act forced
colonists to pay a tax on any printed good. This created revenue for the British Parliament.

30. How Is Freud And Erikson s Psychosocial Theory Of Development
Introduction
Understanding development and changes in children is an important part of teaching and
upbringing children. Theories of Human Development give us ideas to refer to understand and
apply the process of human development. They can help us find sources of behavior and trends, and
account for the path that individuals follow, whether these can be called paths of growth or lack of
progress. (Ayon, 2015) Different psychologists have contributed their theories which are helpful to
understand important concepts and issues related to child development. Sigmund Freud s
psychosexual theory and Erik Erikson s psychosocial theory are two important psychoanalytic
theories that teacher s parents and other care takers need to go through if they are involved in
educating and raising children.
In this assignment I will try to compare and contrast Sigmund Freud s psychosexual theory of
development and Erik Erikson s psychosocial theory of development.

that developments take place through a series of stages in a person s life and applied similar age
groups for the stages of development. Differences between Freud s psychosexual theory of
development and Erik Erikson s psychosocial theory
When we compare these two theories, there are many differences between these two theories. The
first difference I have notice is the way they described the stages. Freud proposed five stages of
development while Erikson proposed eight stages. Freud s psychosexual theory emphasizes the
importance of basic needs and biological forces, but Erikson s psychosocial theory is mostly
focused upon social and environmental factors. Erikson extended his theory into adulthood until
death, while Freud s theory ends at an earlier stage of development.

31. The Outcome Of Two Major Railroad Strikes
Identify and describe the outcome of two major Railroad Strikes. The two major Railroad
Strikes were the Great Railroad Strike of 1877 and Railroad Shop workers Strike of 1922. The
Great Railroad Strike of 1877, was due to workers not being happy about the pay cuts that were
being made by their employer so often. Northern Railroads began cutting salaries and wages.
Because of various railroads cutting wages by 10% back to back, workers were not willing to
continue working under those conditions. Not only were the wages of the workers being cut,
the amount work of work given to the employees increased and the employer did not hire
additional workers. This then caused railroad employees to respond by taking control of the rail
yard switches, and blocking movement of trains. Throughout various cities such as Baltimore,
Pittsburg, St. Louise, and Chicago, Violent acts began to occur. Many people died throughout
the cities. The strike cause the country s commerce to become paralyzed and pushed governors
in different states to utilize militia members to reopen rail traffic. This action also helped set the
stage for violence that would occur later in the 1880s and 1890s. The Railroad Shop Workers
Strike of 1922 affected everyone in the country. This strike occurred because of the pay cut of
seven cents to the wages of the railroad workers. Approximately 400,000 rail shop workers from
various unions were on strike because the cut was announced by the railroad labor board. When

training. I was playing soccer at Chemeketa Community College when I broke my foot. I spent
many hours with the athletic trainerthere Julie Speck (PT/ATC/R), who gave me the opportunity to
work with her in the training room. She also sparked another interest and that is to get my dual
credentials in athletic trainingand physical therapy. I see myself using both degrees in the future
like my mentor Julie Spark (PT/ATC/R). She works in a hospital as a physical therapist and is
contracted out to Chemeketa Community College as an athletic trainer. This is exactly what I plan
to do with both my degrees. As an athletic trainer there are many qualities you must possess. One,
unique qualities that I have is being naturally competitive. My competitive nature makes me want
to be the best at everything I m doing. It motivates me to try my hardest to accomplish my goals.
Handle stress is also an important quality that I possess. The training center can seem a stressful at

Literary writing is a process; sharing the written word on paper for a reader to join in the vision

twisting, curving, traveling over dirt, rocks, plants, moving with the insects and animals along the

being on the top in our industry by the increase of customers which results in an increase of
profits. We anticipate a 5% increase of customers our first year followed by 6% the second year and
8% the third year. These will be our key factors in our financial objective.
Customer Value Perspective
Customers are important for our new program to work and we need to keep these three strategic
objectives in mind for it to be successful. Customers will help our business grow by using their
property to make a profit. We feel in the first year 25% of our customers will take advantage of our

37. The Research Of Second Language Acquisition ( Sla )
INTRODUCTION
The research of second language acquisition (SLA) and its theories surged in the twentieth
century. At a first glance, the definition of SLA may seem clear, however when analysed further
it becomes clear that the subject is a bit more complex. Nevertheless, a good definition of it
could be as follows: a study of ... the way in which people learn a language other than their mother
tongue, inside or outside a classroom. (Ellis, 1997:3) From the 1940s to the 1960s, a
psycholinguistic theory known as behaviourism (stimulus response), was developed, becoming
recognised as a legitimate theory behind SLA. This was a positivist approach towards language
learning which involved the interference and transfer between a speaker s first ... Show more

By providing a theoretical framework, then going on to discuss the arguments for and against the
CA hypothesis, a conclusion on its reliability will be drawn.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
In order to fully understand the reasons for which the CA hypothesis has fallen into decline, with
questions of its reliability in being sufficient in the explanation of errors made by L2 learners, it is
necessary to examine other theories behind SLA. Firstly, as aforementioned, behaviourism (and
therewith CA) was one school of thought, popularised by B.F Skinner and John Watson. CA is
explained in Robert Lado s Linguistics Across Cultures (1957, p. 2) in which he asserts that those
elements that are similar to the [learner s] native language will be simple for him, and those areas
that are different will be difficult. By this, Lado meant that errors made in the L2 (by learners) are
due to habits which differed from the structures in their L1 and these errors would thus reflect the
L1 s structure.
However, there is another notable hypothesis which aims to explain the errors made by learners of
a second language, that being Larry Selinker s interlanguage hypothesis. According to Rod Ellis
(1997:33), this was coined in recognition of the fact that, although L2 construct a linguistic system
that does adopt part of the L1 structure, but is also differs from it and also from the target language.
This means that the

Free Will
A definition of free will, as we have seen, can be misunderstood and easily distorted. For the
purpose of this essay free will, will be defined as the ability to chose, express ones feelings,
emotions, or actions unconditionally.
From the first time I understood the meaning of what free will was, I believed in it 100%. I had the
right and ability to choose what ever I liked. Not only did I believe that I had free will but if I
ever heard otherwise I felt that the other person did not have a clear understanding of what free
will was, and as a result I could demonstrate a fairly strong persuasive argument opposing anything
but the existence of free will. I would illustrate a situation in which there seemed to be no ... Show

I grew up in a household where I was taught that I was and will always be free. I also never had
any religious affiliation within my first 8 years of schooling, which might have influenced me to
think differently. The illustration of a gun to ones head is also rooted within the environment of
others as well as my own. We can assume that the majority of people would want to live in that
situation and therefore follow what is being asked of them. Now is that there free will? I don t
think so. The fact that they choose to live is based on their enjoyment of life and there lessons that
they have been taught by their upbringing, this is their environment. The same would be true on an
extreme end. Somebody may make the decision to not obey and sacrifice his or her life because of
extreme misery and discontent. Furthermore, the reason for the unhappiness may be a result of
heredity. The victim s mother could have used drugs, or something similar that which had an effect
on her child.
God plays an interesting role in this explanation of free will. Presently, after having about 7
years of religious education I feel like I am educated enough to speak of God. I believe that
people can be affected by God within there decision making and often have God make the choice
for them. For example, the choice to remain celibate until marriage, that is God s wishes

44. Belgian Imperialism
Imperialism helped the Belgians discriminate, segregate, brutally torture, and even kill the
Congolese in genocidal proportions worse than the Holocaust, for economic benefit. Imperialism
is what let the Belgians easily seized all control of the Congolese supply of ivory, rubber, and
minerals for economic power and benefit. Because the Congolese did not want to be controlled the
Belgians inflicted brutal control over the people, then after that they started killing them in
inhumane ways. The Congolese also lost most of their own culture, but when the Belgians
invaded their country and took over they did bring religion and education. Overall the Belgians
destroyed the Congo because of their greed, and their past is still remembered today. Imperialism
had a vast impact on the Congo s economy. The first thing the Belgians wanted was control over

dopamine linked to hormone secretion and emotional behavior. However, dopamine plays an
important functional role in movement the generation of movement [4]. A deficiency of dopamine
levels in the brain leads to many life altering side affects experienced by patients suffering from
Parkinson s disease. Parkinson s disease is identified as a chronic progressive neurodegenerative
disorder of the brain affecting the nigrostriatal dopaminergic system [1]. Among the basal ganglia

47. Comparing Voltaire s And Socrates Views On The Study Of...
The study of philosophy has played a role in a history throughout history. Many beliefs and
attitudes have emerged as a result of inquiries from various scholars who have studied this realm.
Socrates and Voltaire are two notable scholars who had similar and distinct attitudes about
philosophy. This paper will compare and contrast their views regarding philosophyand provide
insight to my personal views. Socratesview regarding philosophy was the attempt to seek truth and
wisdom that would serve a guide for his life (Pecorino, 2010). He believed that knowledge
provided a pathway to good and those who were familiar with the concepts of good would
choose good (Pecorino, 2010). Though the option of choosing good was not known, those who
tried to discover good concepts would inevitably have a good life (Pecorino, 2010). In contrast of
good, those who did not seek out good, were evil. Since the act of finding good is a virtue, of the
individuals who were ignorant to good were deemed evil involuntary (Pecorino, 2010).... Show

there is a conflict in which is an individual happy when a person seeks not or claims ignorance?
The overall arching view is that Voltaire lets the audience decide what path equivocates happiness;

promoting the integration of citizens into American culture. Since its inception the JACL has
expanded its mandate to focus on lobbying for the Civil Rights of all Asian American citizens and
protecting Japanese American cultural heritage. The JACL is considered one of the oldest and one
of the most influential national organizations promoting social justice and equality throughout the
country. The actions of the JACL have frequently been shaped by and frame in response to varying
historical events as well as both public prejudice and political attitudes. As a result, the organization
has, at times, been both critiqued by the Asian American community for its support of racist
government policies and praised for its opposition of legislative discrimination. In particular the
organization has been criticized for its complacency during World War Two (1939 1945) with the
federal government s discriminatory internment of Japanese American citizens. The origins of the

One of the biggest problems that men mention when talking about their sexual health is wishing
that there was a way to last longer in bed. The good news it that there are many ways to increase
sexual stamina and improve your love making techniques. Use these easy ways to last longer in
bed and have a more satisfying experience for both you and your partner.
One of the easiest and most natural ways to increase your time is to change positions. Let the
woman ease on top of you and stay on top. This can also be achieved by literally sitting inside
each other. This is when the man crosses his legs and the woman does too, but she is on the top.
This gives her more control over the tempo and improves both her experience and yours as well.

During intercourse, withdraw the penis and then re enter in the missionary position. This is a great
tip to use when you re tired of the woman always being on top and you want to try something
different.
This method is also great for couples that like to experiment since they can easily add their own
acrobatic moves like lifting the legs or even the entire body. By withdrawing during intercourse,
this will slow a man s body and responses down, giving him better technique.
The squeeze technique is a great natural method that makes sex more satisfying and last longer for
both partners. After engaging in foreplay, guys will often feel the need to release immediately.
Once this urge happens, the woman squeezes the end of the penis until the urge goes away.
After releasing, wait a few seconds and then continue. Using this method a few times during
foreplay can make intercourse longer and more satisfying. This may take some time to perfect for
both partners so don t give up if it doesn t seem to be effective the first time

50. Modernism and Art
Modernism Typified Tradition Rejection Modernism is typified by rejection of tradition.
Modernism is a present state undertaking that comes with subsequent changes brought by
innovation and change of approaches in production and thought. Traditions as the past lifestyle and
activity cannot be at the stand with new and modern approaches of relaying similar activities and
solutions. The challenges brought by the environment have changed urgency of approach and
perception of ideas in the world. Change of ideas and approaches touch on every sector of human
and animal life in the world. For instance, modernism is characterized by abandonment of the old
and outdated approaches of activity and embracing new ideas backed by innovation and modern
thought. Therefore, modernism is a gradual adoption of the new ideas and approaches of solving
the immediate and long time problems while rejecting the old traditional ways (Harrison Wood,
2003). Definition of modernism Modernism is referred as ways of exemplifying the modern
thought, practice, and character. Modernism is a movement that transcends from the old and
traditional approaches of doing things in the universe. The old cultures and believes among people
have undergone gradual change over time. New approaches and practices are being embraced by
the human society without much consideration of the differences brought by such changes. With

53. Containment in Boxes
A box without hinges, key, or lid, yet golden treasure inside is hid.
J. R. R. Tolkien The box is a ubiquitous object, a box of some kind or another can be found in
every culture. For the purpose of this essay it will look at the box from a western viewpoint.
Given the perimeters of this essay I will confine the discussion of the box to Art Therapy, as it is
made, appointed or constructed in the art therapy context; and instead of clinical studies I will
be using art as examples. Boxes appear in all cultures and times, their uses range from hiding, to
safe keeping; from precious to the mundane, The coffin to the bread box. Boxes have become
modern man s ways of organising their office, house, garage, and under the bed secrets. You can
shop at stores dedicated entirely to boxes of all shapes and sizes; The Container Store in the
USA, is a great example of this, an almost obsessive need the Western modern man has to contain
things. Might there be some deeper unmet needs being communicated through this desire to
contain the physical things in ones life? True a way of organising, but could it also be a way of
finding physical structure and space just by putting on a lid and sliding it into a slot under a bed,
or into a closet? The ability to controls one s own chaos without too much work or introspection.

The next revolution in car production took place not in the United States but in Japan. A change in
management thinking occurred there when Ohno Taiichi, a Toyota production engineer, pioneered
the development of lean manufacturing in the 1960s after touring the US plants of the Big Three
car companies. The management philosophy behind lean manufacturing is to continuously п¬Ѓnd
methods to improve the efficiency of the production process in order to reduce costs, increase
quality, and reduce car assembly time. In lean manufacturing, workers work on a moving
production line, but they are organized into small teams, each of which is responsible for a
particular phase of car assembly, such as installing the car s transmission or electrical wiring
system. Each team member is expected to learn all the tasks of all members of his or her team,
and each work group is charged with the responsibility not only to assemble cars but also to
continuously п¬Ѓnd ways to increase quality and reduce costs. By 1970, Japanese managers had
applied the new lean production system so efficiently that they were producing higher quality
cars at lower prices than their US counterparts, and by 1980 Japanese companies were dominating
the global car market. To compete with the Japanese, managers at the Big Three car makers visited
Japan to learn lean production methods. In recent years, Chrysler Canada has been the North
American model for speed in automobile production. Chrysler s Windsor, Ontario

The High Scope curriculum incorporates diversity in its approach. High Scope incorporates
diversity through developmentally appropriate approaches, which allow the children to
progress at their own rate through the use of learning centers. According to Morrison, High
Scope does not focus on the child s deficits, but instead focuses on social, cognitive, and physical
abilities, which are important for every child especially ones with special needs. Teachers in the
High Scope approach will identify the developmental level of a special needs child. Then the
teachers will provide different experiences that are appropriate for a normal child at their
developmental age. For example, if a special needs child is four years old but is developmentally
at a two year old level then, the child would use gestures and point with the fingers to express their
plans. The teacher would then immerse the child in activities that provide opportunities to hearing
and using language (Morrison, 1976, p. 19 20). High Scope shows multi cultural respect in their
classroom by incorporating materials and experiences that reflect the diversity in the children. In
addition, the teachers will help each diverse family to find community services that would be
helpful to the family s individual needs ( The High/Scope Preschool Educational Approach: A

Immanuel Kant 1724 1804
Immanuel Kant was born on April 22, 1724 in Konigsberg, East Prussia. He was the son of a
saddler. At age 8, he entered the Collegium Fredericianum, a Latin school, where he remained for 8
1/2 years and studied the classics. He then entered the University of Konigsberg in 1740 to study
philosophy, mathematics, and physics. The death of his father halted his university career so he
became a private tutor. In 1755, he returned to Konigsburg where he later resumed his studies. In
1756, he received a degree and was made a lecturer, and in 1770 he became a professor.

In 1798, the year following his retirement from the University, Kant published a summary of his
religious views. He died on February 12, 1804.
During his lifetime, Kant produced many writings. Scholars usually divide his literary career into
two periods: the Pre critical period and the Critical period. During the Pre critical period, 1747 to
1781, he wrote many non fictional works and criticisms. Some of them were quot;Thoughts on the
True Estimation of Living Forces quot;, quot;On Fire quot;, quot;A New Explanation of the First
Principles of Metaphysical Knowledge quot;, and quot;On the Forms and Principles of the Sensible
and Intelligible World quot;. From 1770 to 1780, he mainly worked on preparing quot; The Critique
of Pure Reason quot;.
The Critical period lasted from 1781 to 1794. During this period, he wrote quot; The Critique of Pure
Reason quot; in 1781, and quot;Foundation for the Metaphysics of Ethics quot; in 1785. Following
the critical works, Kant published quot;Critique of Practical Reason quot;, quot;Critique of
Judgment quot;, and quot;Religion within the Limits of Mere Reason quot;.
Three main discussions of Kant are Duty, the Formula of the End, and the Kingdom of Ethics. Kant
feels that we act morally when we do our duty, however it is important to distinguish between acting
according to duty and acting from duty. Acting according to duty is when someone else has
imposed the duty. This is an

Two empty milk containers should do the trick. If you don t have any laying around, just use the
empty oil bottle containers. A funnel works well when transferring the old oil into the containers.
Last, some old rags are good for cleaning up spills.
Now that all the materials are gathered, we can change into our outfits and get started. Make
sure that your car is parked on a level surface, rather than a hill or an inclined driveway. Start
your car and let it run for about 10 minutes. This process allows the oil to warm up which makes
it drain quicker than cold oil. Shut the car off and engage the parking brake. Place jack under

Ticket to the Stars
It was first written about in the Bible as the Tower of Babel, long before any scientist thought
about or came up with the idea to invent an elevator to take trips out of this world, instead of
mentioning an elevator of course it was described as building a tower so high it would reach to

that is different from the earth atmosphere. NASA, scientists, and many private industries are all
interested in creating this elevator for many purposes. A space elevator can create space

advantages and disadvantages. The elevator is very hard and complex to build, but if one explains
