Dear colleagues,
Submarine cable repair accounts for over 70% of all insurance claims on installed wind parks. In order to reduce
damages, installation time and costs for projects, project leaders will look to “design for installation” rather than
“install based on design”.
Thorough planning, surveys and trenching are essential, however a number of opportunities exist for upgrading
protection systems and utilising available data from condition monitoring for completed wind projects.
Over three days, we will look at everything you need to know and help you implement best-practices for your next
cabling project.
I look forward to seeing you in Bremen.
Alastair Grant
Wind Energy Portfolio Manager
